If you don't speak up, who will?If you are one of those people who often calls your congressman to provide input, thank you. You are helping us all by supporting democracy. If you have never contacted your congressman, or any other elected official, now is a great time to start. All of us who have allowed the special interest groups to hold a stronger voice because we didn't say anything have received what we deserved. We allowed others to speak for us. Are you tired of being stepped on? Are you ready to become involved? The more people speak up, the less influence the special interests will hold. Do you want to have government which represents the People or do you want it only if our government can somehow read your mind? Please, speak up. Made a connection. |
